On Wednesday, March 16, 2022, SVRTC members, awardees, superintendents and other special guests gathered virtually for the Annual SVRTC Awards Banquet. The Awards Banquet was celebrated online with over 120 participants joining in for the celebration of awardees and announcements. Many of the awardees joined together at their schools to cheer and celebrate their employees. Region 8 Superintendents even joined as a whole group to enjoy the celebration!
The event had special guests, Carl Hooker and Dr. Adam Phyall, hosting a special version of their Pardon the Disruption presentation. During the presentation Adam and Carl announced the SVRTC 2021-2022 competitive award recipients: Technology Leadership Award – Sylvia Hicks, Amelia County Public Schools; and Division Leadership Award – Brunswick County Public Schools.
