Celebrating Hour of Code

In celebration of Computer Science Education Week (December 7-13, 2015), ninety-three students and two teachers from Lunenburg Middle School participated in the worldwide event called the, hour of code-2015“Hour of Code”. Students designed computer code that programmed robots and designed computer apps not only for the one week celebration, but over the course of two weeks, in Mr. Fowler’s and Mrs. Sutphin’s classes.
Providing students the opportunity to learn computer science helps nurture problem-solving skills, logic and creativity. By starting early, students can have a foundation for success in any 21st-century career path.
